Geography and Map of the Grama Panchayat
Chengala Grama Panchayat is a Grama Panchayat situated in Kasaragod Taluk under the Kasaragod Block Panchayat of Kasaragod District. The Panchayat comprises the villages of Chengala, Muttathody, Padi, and Nekraje.
The Panchayat covers an area of 53.79 square kilometres. It is bounded on the north by Badiadka Grama Panchayat and Kumbdaje Grama Panchayat; on the south by Chemnad Grama Panchayat and Karadka Grama Panchayat; on the west by Kasaragod Municipality, Madhur, and Chemnad Panchayats; and on the east by Muliyar Grama Panchayat, Karadka, and Kumbdaje Panchayats.
Chengala Grama Panchayat, which includes the district headquarters of Kasaragod, lies adjacent to Kasaragod Municipality. The Chandragiri River flows along the southern boundary of the Panchayat, which consists of the villages of Chengala, Muttathody, Padi, and Nekraje.
